August 27, 2020 – Happy Holidays
Anyone ready for snow? Neither are we. But, it’s great when someone actually gets a quilt finished in time for the season it represents. It was stitched with a pale green thread using the exquisite Snow Crystals design by Anne Bright Designs.
August 10, 2020 – Team Spirit!
Even though football season is not normal for 2020, there’s no reason a person can’t have team spirit. The customer who made this chevron quilt is a fan of Nebraska football. The combination of Husker printed fabrics and the solid grays and blacks are a great tribute to the team. The backing is a red minky fabric, which really shows the quilted design. The quilt was stitched with a silver gray thread using the Husker Football design by Debra Geissler (Designs by Deb). Great quilt to cozy up in beside the fireplace, and maybe even watch a little football some day.
August 7, 2020 – Chicken Coop
Cock-a-doodle-doo! If you have fond memories of a farm lifestyle, this quilt is for you. This table topper size quilt is pieced using fabrics with roosters, chicken wire, barn siding, etc. You can almost hear the roosters crow! It was stitched with a putty colored thread using a meandering stipple design.
