August 8, 2016 – T-shirt Quilt for College
Getting ready for college, but you don’t have a t-shirt quilt yet? No worries! This quilt was made for a young woman in August and given to her a few weeks after she started college. Since it’s still warm in August and September, she wasn’t in any hurry for a warm and comfy quilt until the weather changed. Luckily, she had the gift before it got cold. This quilt provided great comfort for her being away from home at school. The quilt was extra comfy, as we used flannel for the sashing and fleece for the backing. It was quilted with gray thread using an overall meander stitch.
