July 24, 2017 – Daughter’s Wedding Signature Quilt

The quilter pieced her daughter’s wedding quilt using signature blocks signed by wedding guests. To avoid taking the attention away from the signatures, an open design and neutral thread were recommended. Because the wedding took place in New England, the customer and her daughter preferred a leaf theme. The quilt was stitched with putty colored thread using the Wisteria design by Patricia Ritter (Digi-Tech).

It was quilted with gray (smoke) colored thread using the Notes design by Anne Bright Designs.

July 9, 2017 – Yellow & Gray Charity Quilt

A group of women pieced this beautiful gray and yellow, full-size quilt for an upcoming charity auction. The center of the quilt is a disappearing nine-patch pattern. Striped fabric was cut on the bias to give the binding a “ribbon” effect. The quilt was stitched with light gray thread using the Moon and Flowers design by Christy Dillon (My Creative Stitches).
