April 30, 2020 – Foxes Abound with Forest Friends

So many cute nursery prints to pick from these days, but these prints with foxes and forest animals captured the eye of this customer. These cute foxes were stitched with a pale green thread using the Popcorn design by Jodi Beamish, Willow Leaf Studios, giving the quilt a feel of clouds.

April 29, 2020 – Flowers for Mom

This beautiful flower-in-a-jar quilt has a special story. This quilt was pieced by a beginner quilter. During the down time of COVID-19, this male teacher spent his time learning a new skill. He learned to quilt. He made this quilt for his mother and gave it to her for Mother’s Day. Kudos to the customer for an excellent job of piecing and matching all of those points! The quilt was stitched with snow/white colored thread using the Leaves design by Wasatch Quilting.

April 13, 2020 – Butterfly Baby Blanket

What better way to welcome a new grandchild than with a baby blanket made by grandma? This bright colored strip quilt was stitched with a cornmeal colored thread using the Aubrey Daisies design by Anne Bright Designs. The stitching really shows up on the Ombre fabric backing, which changes from dark orange to cream.

April 2, 2020 – Lion

Animal quilts are popular this year, but none is more formidable than the lion. The customer who pieced this quilt made it for her granddaughter. The customer later discovered the school’s theme for the year was “Jesus, the lion”. Her granddaughter was thrilled! The quilt is a lap size measuring 52″ x 62″. It was stitched with military gold colored thread using the Aroma design, which resembles a lion’s mane, by Lorien Quilting (Intelligent Quilting).

March 26, 2020 – Halloween Hearts

Halloween is a fun season of candy, games, trick-or-treating, ghosts, goblins, etc. The hearts in this quilt are made of Halloween and/or Autumn colors surrounded by a border of spooky trees. To complement the theme, the quilt was stitched with silver colored thread using the Halloween Night design from Anne Bright Designs.
